What the reviews are saying about Perko’s

What people are sayingAt Perko’s, we tend to let the atmosphere and food in our restaurants do the talking about the quality of your experience. But that doesn’t mean there are other valued voices of opinion as to what you can expect when you come and visit us.

Obviously, we’re going to always try and deliver our best to you each and every day. And if there’s ever a time that we aren’t doing that, we’ve got a place for you to let us know.

Still, there’s always value in what other customers have to say about an experience. And so for today’s blog, we wanted to feature a few of the kind words that some of our past guests have said about us in some online reviews we’ve stumbled upon.

“Found this place by mistake. Our GPS ‘Jill’ took us to an old Denny’s, so we decided to stop and eat since we were hungry!  I’m so glad we did.
The food is delicous for being simple food and highly affordable. The staff was amazing! They were ALL so nice and sweet and helpful. We didn’t know who our waitress was since they all stopped by and made sure we were doing good.Besides the food and service, our favorite part was the menu! We had never seen a newspaper menu before. We even asked if we could take a menu home and of course they didn’t hesitate to say no.

Next time we’re in the Sacramento area we will be stopping by for brunch.” — Erika T. – Bakersfield, CA

“This place is awesome.. great food great atmosphere.. and it looks like everyone knows what they are doing.. keep it up Perkos…” — Ronald W. – Sacramento, CA

“This place is an unassuming gem of a roadside diner! Dropped in here for lunch on Sunday, Nov 4 after dropping off family at the Amtrak station not knowing what to expect. I found the place packed with a wide cross section of locals served by an army of great waitresses with tons of energy and enthusiasm (they knew the names of some of the diners). We sat at the counter next to an ol’ local. Our waitress was Rockie (aka R[heart]ckie), she rocked. Bonus: two of the waitresses were STILL sporting their Giants jerseys.

The menu is lengthy and covers all you would expect from a diner and more. The menu is amusingly printed up like a newspaper. The food is fresh and cooked perfectly, Chocolate milkshake comes as regular, chocolate, and extra chocolate!!

I’ve eaten at many classic diners and this is one of the best. Plenty of parking in back and freeway close off the 99/4/5 make this a must stop
if you are passing through Stockton or if you live in the Stockton area.” — Otto V. – Alameda, CA
